Join us at our state-of-the-art JFB Technical Center in Golden Valley, MN, where you will have the chance to make a significant impact in the food industry by ensuring the safety and quality of our products.
Key Responsibilities
Test, analyze, and report accurate and timely results in the Gluten Lab.
Organize workload and prioritize samples to maximize output and meet deadlines.
Execute laboratory methods, deliver results by due date, and perform data interpretation.
Comply with Medallion and ISO 17025 quality requirements and address quality control issues.
Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
Support cross-functional teams and assist in projects as needed.
Develop and maintain lab procedures and participate in audits.
Implement training of lab personnel through effective cross-training plans.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in microbiology, food science, biology, chemistry, or related field.
1-3 years' experience in food testing.
Proficient in basic laboratory skills and operation of lab equipment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience working in an ISO 17025 accredited lab.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferences
Experience working with LabWare LIMS.
