Responsibilities

The Reporting Analyst II will mine data and drive ideas to improve business unit functioning. This role will obtain pertinent data from all relevant departments, compile and clean this information, and ultimately analyze the data. This will require the ability to generate useful deductions from raw information and continually create and modify databases to meet the needs of our expanding company. The Reporting Analyst II will be the first level of resource which the RA I will seek out for support when needed.

Essential Job Functions:

• Gather raw data from appropriate resources and pertinent individuals
• Collate such data to facilitate interpretation and relevance to the business at hand
• Check, clean and analyze data with consideration for the influence of missing information, outliers, plus confounding and extraneous variables
• Report on insights obtained, with the intent that this information might be utilized to inform business strategies
• Consult on areas of uncertainty to promote optimal use of ideas derived from data
• Create and update data sets that evolve in tandem with the business needs
• Write SQL queries, views, etc.
• Must be able to understand what is happening via the ETL process
• Train and develop RA I on standard reporting practices

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of SQL Query suite of tools
• Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI or similar self-service products
• Demonstrated ability to translate functional requirements into technical requirements
• Clear understanding of various methods for gathering and normalizing data

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience in business or related field
• 2+ years' experience in similar position
• In office workdays are required; there will be day(s) designated for working remotely based on schedule assigned
