Key Responsibilities\n

• Assist primary care providers in identifying, treating, and managing mental health and psychosocial issues, contributing as a key member of the primary care team.

• Conduct patient intakes with a focus on diagnostic and functional evaluations, making informed recommendations to guide treatment goals.

• Provide targeted, brief interventions for patients in need of mental health services, ensuring timely support and care.

• Determine the appropriateness of referrals for patients requiring specialty mental health services versus ongoing treatment within primary care.

• Initiate follow-up protocols to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Develop and implement relapse prevention plans to help maintain patient stability.

• Identify ‘at-risk’ patients and formulate proactive strategies to prevent deterioration of their mental health.

• Document patient diagnostics and progress thoroughly in treatment charts to maintain accurate clinical records.

• Maintain open communication with primary care providers regarding patients’ needs and collaborate on effective treatment strategies.

• Empower patients with self-management skills and educational resources to actively participate in their treatment and recovery.

• Provide consultation to clinic management and colleagues on behavioral health services, contributing to evaluations and program outcomes.

• Assist patients in adhering to prescribed medical treatment, including coping strategies for medication side effects.

• Adhere to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals and carry out additional duties as assigned by clinic management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 87,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
