Assistant General Manager

As our Assistant General Manager, you'll partner with the General Manager to lead service, develop the team, and ensure operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and actively participate in dinner service - this is the main focus of the role. 
• Foster continued growth of all FOH positions by leading through example and offering constructive feedback in real time and/or in a timely manner.
• Cultivate a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Work in concert with GM to manage reservations systems, guest databases, and guest relations.
• Continuously learn about and share knowledge of our food, wine, and beverage program.
• Work efficiently and safely while maintaining high operational standards.
• Oversee all end-of-day closing procedures, including reconciling financial transactions, verifying server checkouts, completing the nightly Manager Report, and conducting a final walkthrough to secure the restaurant.

Qualifications:

• Previous management experience preferred.
• Strong sense of warmth and hospitality.
• Genuine desire to provide exceptional service.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and clear communication skills.
• Multitask effectively and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk up to 5 miles per shift, including stairs.
• Commitment to long-term growth with the team.
