Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs using the DSM-5.

• Implementing short-term psychotherapy interventions tailored to individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and dual disorders.

• Utilizing evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate therapeutic change.

• Engaging in case management, treatment planning, and coordination of care, ensuring that clients receive the necessary support across various platforms.

• Providing crisis intervention and skills training to clients during challenging moments, utilizing discretion and clinical judgement.

• Maintaining thorough documentation of client sessions, treatment progress, and communication with family members or other providers as appropriate.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists and clinical supervisors, to refine treatment strategies and improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with diverse adult and adolescent populations facing mental health challenges, including mood disorders, relationship issues, and trauma-related conditions. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, you must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work from an accredited institution.

• An active LMFT or Psy.D license in the state of New York, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 75,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
