Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify the emotional and psychological needs of clients, ensuring that each client’s unique status is understood prior to treatment.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are both measurable and tailored to assist clients in overcoming challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that encourage open dialogue, exploration of feelings, and development of effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians and psychiatrists, to guarantee comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and additional certifications to remain informed about best practices and emerging therapies in mental health treatment.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our service delivery by identifying areas for service enhancement and recommending innovative program initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will directly influence a diverse and multi-faceted clientele. You will serve individuals grappling with various mental health challenges, including but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and relational issues. Our focus is on delivering culturally-sensitive therapy that respects and acknowledges the background of each client, providing an inclusive space for healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• An active and valid license/certification to practice as a Mental Health Counselor in California, specifically as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.

• A minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a strong ability to handle emotional challenges faced by clients.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills, particularly in establishing rapport and trust with clients quickly and effectively.

• Prior experience utilizing electronic medical record systems for documenting session notes, treatment plans, and progress updates.

Compensation and Benefits\n
