TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Tucson, Arizona, 85712!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit operating under a team nursing model (RN + LPN team, 8:1 ratio)
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG readings; open-book EKG test required at orientation
• Float within scope of practice as needed, including occasional float to a sister facility approximately 25 minutes away (lower acuity setting)
• Complete a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per contract
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Valid Arizona RN license (required prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• Current BLS certification (must not expire within 30 days of start date)
• Current NIHSS certification (must not expire within 30 days of start date)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Must be willing to commit to the full contract length and the team nursing model with LPN partnership

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current ACLS certification
• Prior experience working in a team nursing environment
