What You'll Do

  • Perform inpatient neurosurgery rounds alongside residents to develop patient care plans
  • Review, order, and manage patient treatments and discharge procedures
  • Collaborate with resident programs, providing patient care support without entering the operating room
  • Remove drains such as hemovac and JP drains (preferred skill)
  • Assist in managing neurosurgical inpatients and discharges
  • Document patient care and communicate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Support patient flow and ensure quality neuro patient care

What You Need

Required:
  • Board Certification in Neurosurgery
  • MA State License
  • Minimum 1 year experience in neurosurgery
  • Ability to remove drains (hemovac / JP)
Preferred:
  • Experience working in an acute hospital setting
  • Strong patient care skills with a multidisciplinary team
