Interventional Radiology Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position with a Day 5x8-Hour schedule, running from 07:00 to 15:30. Shifts may vary starting from 7am to 9am. Weekend support is required on a rotating call schedule.

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at a Level 1 Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in peripheral and neuro interventional radiology procedures. Essential responsibilities include performing imaging procedures and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct interventional radiology procedures including stroke thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, and carotid stenting.
• Perform line access procedures such as port placements and PICC line insertions.
• Collaborate with medical staff and support teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with departmental protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R) required.
• Additional certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT VI) preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Current South Carolina radiography state license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology.
• EPIC experience preferred.
