Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions including exercise regimens, stretching techniques, and manual therapy to improve patients' mobility and relieve pain.
• Document all treatment processes meticulously, tracking patient progress and adjusting therapies based on continuous assessment.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on physical therapy practices and techniques essential for recovery and long-term health maintenance.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals to enhance patient care and share rehabilitation insights.
• Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge through workshops and continued education to ensure the latest evidence-based practices are applied in therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse demographic, including children and adults suffering from various conditions such as post-surgical recovery, neurological disorders, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic pain. The role requires not only clinical expertise but also empathy and effective communication skills to support patients emotionally through their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety during treatment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficient in computer skills for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Two (2) years of hands-on experience in a clinical, outpatient, or rehabilitation setting.
• Experience with assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits
