Diagnostic Radiology Technologist - Weekender

Responsible for performing standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining related records. Key Responsibilities Perform radiological procedures with proper patient positioning and exposure techniques. Operate all equipment within the modality skillfully. Set up and adjust immobilization and radiation protective devices. Review patient characteristics to tailor examinations appropriately. Assist physicians with various procedures. Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Participate in quality assurance and control activities. Contribute to educational training of students. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from a specialized Radiologic Technology program is required. Proven knowledge of equipment operation, patient assessment, and safety protocols is essential. Work Environment & Expectations Typically performed in clinical settings, the role demands adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
