Since our founding, we have proudly graduated over 10,000 nurses.We are seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist to support the technology needs of our campus. This on-site role is responsible for assisting end-users, managing IT infrastructure, maintaining internal and external systems, and assessing future technology needs to enhance operations.Key Responsibilities:Network & System AdministrationOversee, install, manage, and maintain Jersey College's IT network, ensuring system security and efficiency.Maintain operational integrity of all information technology equipment and software.Administer and monitor internal servers, intranet, and extranet sites.Help Desk SupportProvide technical support to faculty, staff, and students, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.Manage the IT help desk, ensuring timely resolution of support requests.IT Training & User SupportDevelop and conduct training for faculty, staff, and students on IT systems and best practices.Create user-friendly documentation and resources to improve technology adoption and efficiency.Technology Assessment & StrategyEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend relevant solutions to enhance the institution’s IT infrastructure.Ensure compliance with IT policies and best practices.Other Responsibilities:Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to optimize IT solutions.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong customer service, listening, and teamwork skills.Proactive, approachable, and passionate about helping others.If you are a dedicated IT professional eager to support higher education and create a seamless technology experience for students and staff, we encourage you to apply! #J-18808-Ljbffr
