Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while adhering to our set hours of Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As a member of Sail Future, you will leverage telehealth platforms to engage with clients, fostering relationships and providing therapeutic support from anywhere. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that their goals, preferences, and requirements are met.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide clients on their path to recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and the importance of self-care practices, enhancing their understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in their condition or objectives.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of a client's mental health and well-being.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to inform and enhance your practice.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in line with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives to ensure a high standard of care.

• Advocate for clients, addressing any barriers they face in accessing mental health services and combating stigma associated with mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus primarily on supporting individuals grappling with mood disorders, including those who may also be experiencing situations of homelessness, refugee status, or domestic abuse. Sail Future Psychiatry Center is dedicated to serving these vulnerable populations, providing not only therapeutic support but also guidance and resources to help them regain their footing and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Demonstrated empathy, sympathy, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage your workload and meet clinical documentation requirements.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients who have mood disorders is highly desirable.

• Additional training in evidence-based therapies like CBT or DBT is a plus.

• Prior experience in an outpatient setting or teletherapy environment is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 90,000 annually, commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
