Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Facilitate therapy sessions with couples and families, while also providing individual counseling sessions for members as needed.

• Lead parent support groups that create a safe space for discussing sensitive topics, including placement issues and the impact of adoption on prenatally substance-exposed children.

• Perform developmental evaluations to analyze the mental and emotional well-being of children, ensuring early interventions when necessary.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including social workers, educators, and legal professionals, to enhance client care and support strategies.

• Design and deliver training sessions that educate stakeholders—such as educators and attorneys—on mental health challenges and appropriate interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will primarily focus on assisting couples and families who face a range of challenges including mental health disorders, relationship issues, and transitional life events. Additionally, special attention will be given to children and adolescents, particularly those impacted by developmental concerns or family dynamics related to adoption and substance exposure. Your work will ultimately support clients in creating healthier relationships, improving communication, and fostering resilience within their families.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

As a valued member of the Kooth team, you will receive a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually . Our comprehensive benefits package includes flexible work hours, opportunities for professional development, and the ability to balance telehealth and in-person services. Additionally, you will enjoy the autonomy to set your schedule while meeting a minimum of 30 hours per week in client engagement.
