Accounts Payable Associate

Accounts Payable Employee
The AP employee will be organized, detail-oriented, personable, and process-driven. They must be a self-starter, able to work autonomously, and provide financial and administrative support to the Finance management team. Significant experience with Concur is essential.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Handle invoices and respond to payment and invoice inquiries.
- Coordinate month-end close tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Ensure invoice accuracy in collaboration with departments and vendors.
- Manage time effectively and input invoice records accurately.
- Oversee department activities to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Compile, analyze, and report financial information.
- Improve and enforce department policies for accuracy and efficiency.
- Onboard suppliers, verify IDs, and maintain vendor data.
- Resolve payment issues, purchase order variances, and invoice disputes.
- Ensure receipt of valid supporting documentation for all invoices.
- Assess and report applicable taxes on third-party invoices.
- Manage AP document preparation and records according to policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and update job knowledge through education.
- Support annual audits and other projects as assigned.
Travel And Entertainment
- Support and configure T&E applications, including Concur.
- Manage support tickets efficiently.
- Ensure T&E application availability, scalability, and reliability.
- Support corporate card application and integration.
- Configure corporate card and GL interfaces.
- Create T&E application extensions using Concur APIs.
- Document and revise internal policies and training materials.
- Resolve issues per company travel policies.
Qualification Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent.
- 5 years of accounts payable experience.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
- Excellent data entry and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently or in a team.
