Accounting Assistant

About the Role The Accounting Associate will provide day-to-day support to the accounting and finance functions — bookkeeping, reconciliations, payments, and month-end closings — with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily accounting activities: data entry, journal entries, and transaction recording Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing by gathering and organizing financial data Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts Maintain accurate financial records, invoices, and supporting documentation Help prepare financial reports and schedules for management review and audits Support cash management activities, including recording transactions and monitoring balances Evaluate budgets and track expenses Assist with tax filing and payroll processing Support internal controls and accounting procedures What You'll Need Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP/IFRS) Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP) Fluent in English; conversational Korean Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Nice to Have Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) 1–3 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience Standard office environment Occasional evening/weekend work may be required $50,000–$60,000/year 401(k) with company match Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays Annual discretionary bonus Complimentary lunch Company dormitory available for eligible employees Work Location Irvine, CA 92602 GIT America Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
