Full-Time | Remote After Training Patient-Focused Scheduling | No Weekends or Holidays | Corporate Office Role

Start Your Career at the Front Line of Patient Care Fairfax Radiology Centers — the largest radiology practice in the Washington, DC metropolitan area — is looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Scheduler to serve as the first point of contact in a patient's imaging journey. In this role, you'll do more than schedule appointments — you'll help patients feel informed, reassured, and supported from their very first interaction.

This position transitions to fully remote after training. During scheduled work hours (Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM), employees must maintain a distraction-free environment and remain consistently available on the phone system.

What You'll Do

• Schedule a variety of radiologic exams accurately for patients and referring providers
• Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism, empathy, and clarity
• Navigate a Windows-based, color-coded scheduling system to manage appointments
• Answer patient questions and guide them through next steps in their care

What You'll Bring

• Strong phone presence and excellent verbal communication skills
• A customer-first mindset with a genuine desire to help others
• Call center experience preferred
• Healthcare or health insurance call center experience strongly preferred
• Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus
• Comfort working across multiple systems with solid computer skills

Compensation & Growth:

Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is:
