Litigation Associate

A litigation team is seeking associates with substantial complex litigation and trial experience to join its Los Angeles office, with a particular focus on trial work. The role offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated litigation matters across a broad range of substantive areas, while taking an active role in case strategy, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation. What You’ll Work On Developing case strategy and managing complex litigation matters Researching and drafting dispositive and contested motions Taking and defending depositions Directing discovery and expert workup Preparing and examining witnesses at trial, arbitration, and evidentiary hearings Serving as a senior member of trial teams, owning the pretrial record, and supervising and developing junior associates for more senior candidates Litigation Backgrounds of Interest Securities Class actions Antitrust White collar Entertainment Trade secrets U.S. Attorney’s Office, state AG, district attorney’s office, or comparable government trial practice What They’re Looking For Law school class year 2017–2022 Top law school credentials Substantial complex litigation and trial experience Experience examining or cross-examining witnesses at trial or arbitration is particularly valued District court or appellate court clerkship experience preferred, but not required The position offers $310,000–$450,000 in annual compensation , depending on qualifications and other operational considerations, along with health care, retirement benefits, paid sick and vacation time, parental leave, basic life insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, and discretionary performance-based bonuses. #J-18808-Ljbffr
