Title - Sales Development Representative
Location - 1233 W Monroe Street, Chicago, IL (ONSITE)
Responsible for qualifying leads at the initial stages in the sales funnel. They must research potential clients, connect with (via cold calls & email) and educate prospects,. and qualify leads before handing them off to the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead management and proactive outbound prospecting
- Develop an effective pipeline of new projects and customers
- Generate appointments by means of lead activity management
- Market company’s solutions to potential customers
- Work with the marketing to discover opportunities from various leads resources
- Set up appointments
- Track and maintain customer contact information and outreach schedule
- Attend customer meetings as required
- Participate in sales meetings, local trade shows, and vendor training in order to maintain up to date knowledge.
Requirements:
- 2+ Years Experience as a Sales Representative, AE, or similar role
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Must have the ability to interact and communicate with individuals across the organization
- Understanding of workflow systems of the organization, and their various applications to the improvement of customer business processes
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
- Report to Sales Director on (weekly/monthly/quarterly)sales results
