About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its community-focused, mission-driven organization. The CEO will be the primary external leader, responsible for cultivating relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including churches, donors, volunteers, and community partners. This role demands a warm and engaging individual with a strong Christian faith, who can effectively communicate the organization's mission and vision, and who is passionate about serving others with dignity and compassion. The ideal candidate will have a background in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and community engagement, and will be experienced in strategic thinking, organizational leadership, and collaboration. Key responsibilities for the CEO include serving as the public-facing representative of the organization, championing connection and volunteer engagement, and ensuring a Christ-centered, ecumenically-sensitive organizational culture. The successful candidate will work closely with the Board of Directors to develop and implement strategic plans, and will partner with leadership staff to strengthen programs and identify future opportunities. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred, and the candidate should have a proven track record in leadership, public speaking, and community engagement. The role also involves maintaining visibility with staff and volunteers, empowering internal leaders, and supporting a healthy, mission-driven organizational culture that values collaboration, trust, and servant leadership.
