Health Comfort Youth and Family Health Services is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Hamburg, New York. This full-time remote position is focused on providing high-quality mental health counseling specifically for clients struggling with mood disorders. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, taking into account their personal background and therapeutic goals.
• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that address each client's unique needs, preferences, and long-term goals, ensuring client involvement in their own care.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to the specific challenges faced by clients with mood disorders.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, empowering them with knowledge regarding treatment options and effective self-care strategies.
• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated care that addresses both therapeutic and pharmacological needs.
• Stay current with the latest research and developments related to mood disorders, applying new insights to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to elevate clinical skills and familiarity with best practices in mood disorder treatment.
• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and reducing stigma associated with mood disorders and mental health issues.

Our client population includes individuals facing a variety of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Must hold a current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege (LCSW-R), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychoanalyst, or Psychologist in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in treating mood disorders is strongly preferred.
• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is highly desired.
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and a collaborative approach to work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals is crucial.
• Demonstrated success in delivering positive clinical outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders, along with sound decision-making skills in therapeutic practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to connect and establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
