Work Environment\n

This is a wholly remote position, allowing for a flexible work environment where counselors can choose their own hours within a 40-hour weekly schedule. Our team primarily operates Monday through Friday, with weekend availability required on an as-needed basis. Through our telehealth facility, counselors utilize secure video conferencing tools and electronic health record systems to conduct sessions, engage with clients, and document care and progress efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess patient needs, working collaboratively with individuals and their families to develop actionable treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate care when necessary, guiding patients through acute episodes of distress or mental health emergencies.

• Oversee the coordination and continuum of care, including determining appropriate levels of mental health treatment and disposition of patients.

• Complete all required documentation and statistical reporting accurately and timely, contributing to the clinic's overall data management and quality assurance processes.

• Engage with the Department of Corrections to facilitate access to appropriate resources for patients in custody, ensuring their mental health needs are adequately addressed.

• Lead group treatment sessions for clients in various settings, sharing therapeutic techniques and facilitating discussions that foster connection and healing.

• Participate actively in clinical supervision with a Clinical Supervisor at least once a week to further enhance professional development.
\n
• Attend mental health and medical rounds as required, contributing to holistic case discussions and treatment planning.
\n
• Collaborate with other mental health and health care providers to ensure comprehensive care across different programs and facilities.
\n
• Potentially conduct psychological testing and supervise social work interns or volunteers under guidance.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential for this role.

Preferred Experience\n

While a Bachelor’s degree is the minimum educational requirement, candidates with a Master's degree in a relevant field or those who have prior experience in telehealth counseling are highly preferred. Additionally, experience working with youth and families, as well as familiarity with crisis intervention techniques, are advantageous attributes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The competitive salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
