Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess client mood disorder symptoms by evaluating their intensity, frequency, and duration through comprehensive initial evaluations and ongoing assessments.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that resonate with their individual goals, needs, and preferences.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, notably Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), during individual and group sessions.

• Educate and empower clients and their families on understanding mood disorders, exploring treatment options, and promoting effective self-care strategies.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress, adapting treatment plans based on their evolving needs and feedback.
\n
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated and cohesive treatment plans for comprehensive care.

• Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorders to refine and enhance therapeutic strategies and interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve a diverse range of clients suffering from mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and trauma-related issues. Your role involves facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to address the specific challenges faced by each client. The population in Franklin and surrounding areas reflects a variety of backgrounds and needs, providing a rich tapestry of experiences to draw upon as you develop therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients’ struggles and experiences.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in clinical settings focusing on mood disorders, trauma recovery, or addiction treatment is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
