About the Opportunity

Our client, a Fortune Global 500 pharmaceutical company, is seeking an experienced Procurement Contract Manager to support its team.

\n

\n

While this position is full-time and fully remote, candidates must be available to work during Eastern Time business hours.

\n

\n

Qualifications Required

\n

\n
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements, including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs), Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), and other procurement-related contracts.
\n
• Experience supporting Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Management, Clinical Development, or related business functions.
\n
• Experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or broader life sciences industry.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage supplier and vendor agreements through the full contract lifecycle, from intake and negotiation through execution and contract administration.
\n
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience.
\n
• Strong commercial contracting, negotiation, and risk assessment skills with the ability to work independently and provide practical guidance to business stakeholders.
\n
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with procurement professionals, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to drive timely contract execution and business outcomes.
\n
• Ability to work during Eastern Time (ET) business hours.
\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Independently review, draft, and negotiate a broad range of procurement and commercial agreements.
\n
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contract negotiations with suppliers, CROs, research sites, consultants, institutions, and other third-party vendors.
\n
• Partner closely with Procurement and business stakeholders to support sourcing initiatives, vendor engagements, and contract execution priorities.
\n
• Evaluate contractual terms, identify legal and commercial risks, and negotiate appropriate revisions using approved playbooks, templates, and fallback positions.
\n
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs), consulting, service, and vendor agreements.
\n
• Provide practical, business-oriented guidance regarding contract provisions, supplier obligations, risk allocation, and compliance requirements.
\n
• Escalate complex legal issues to attorneys as appropriate, while independently managing routine commercial contracting matters.
