Work Environment\n

This position primarily operates in a remote setting, offering flexibility while also requiring occasional in-person meetings at our outpatient office in Snohomish. Our regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, promoting work-life balance for all staff members.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients to assess their needs, and create tailored treatment plans that align with their goals.

• Engage with patients through regular counseling sessions to understand their problems and monitor their mental health status.

• Develop and implement coping strategies and therapeutic techniques that are effective for trauma recovery.
\n
• Educate patients and clinic staff about stress and trauma management strategies to foster a well-rounded support system.
\n
• Coordinate with external social and medical agencies to facilitate comprehensive care for patients, enhancing their access to vital resources.

• Evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments of patient progress and feedback.
\n
• Maintain National Certified Counselor certification and complete continuing education courses to stay current with best practices and therapies in mental health treatment.

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma and struggle with associated emotional and psychological challenges. The clinic provides a safe and supportive atmosphere where clients can address their unique needs, explore their feelings, and work towards recovery. As a clinician, you will play a vital role in empowering patients by offering the resources they require to achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience working with trauma patients.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a strong aptitude for electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

• Outstanding communication skills, enabling effective patient interaction and collaboration with team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with Salesforce and other electronic health record systems is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
