Legal Assistant Litigation

Job Description

The Legal Assistant Litigation plays a vital role in supporting civil litigation cases, handling a medium caseload of 6 to 15 cases. This position involves managing key aspects of the litigation process to ensure efficient case preparation and smooth legal operations within the team.

Responsibilities

Manage and organize case documents and files
Conduct legal research relevant to civil litigation
Prepare materials and evidence for court proceedings
Communicate effectively with clients regarding case status
Coordinate and file court documents and pleadings
Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings
Draft and manage correspondence related to cases
Enter and maintain data accurately in case management systems

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of experience as a legal assistant
Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
Proficiency in legal research and case management software
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in document drafting
Excellent time management and organizational skills
High attention to detail
