Legal Assistant Litigation

Job Description

We are seeking a Legal Assistant to support one attorney in personal injury and mixed-practice litigation. This role will manage case files, prepare documents, coordinate calendars, communicate with clients, and provide dependable day-to-day attorney support. Occasional court attendance and use of the firm-specific database are expected.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain litigation case files using the firm-specific database.
Prepare, organize, and format legal documents.
Coordinate calendars, deadlines, hearings, and appointments.
Communicate professionally with clients regarding case-related matters.
Provide administrative and case-related support to one attorney.
Attend court proceedings occasionally as required.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of litigation legal support experience.
Experience supporting personal injury or mixed-practice litigation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management.
Strong attention to detail and written communication skills.
Effective time-management skills.
