Senior AccountantRemarcable is an early-stage SaaS company helping electrical contractors solve material procurement challenges. We're a small, fast-moving team where everyone has real ownership — this role is no exception. As we scale, we need a Senior Accountant who can bring structure to our finances while staying comfortable with the pace and ambiguity of an early-stage company.About the RoleWe're looking for a Senior Accountant to own our core accounting operations and help build the financial infrastructure that will support our growth. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the company on everything from monthly close to process design, and you'll be a key partner as we prepare for future fundraising, audits, and scaling our finance function.What You'll DoOwn the monthly and quarterly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accrualsMaintain accurate general ledger records in accordance with GAAPOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense managementPrepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedulesSupport revenue recognition for SaaS contracts (ASC 606)Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow trackingBuild and improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation as we scaleSupport tax filings and coordinate with external tax/audit partnersHelp prepare for audits, fundraising due diligence, or acquisition activityWhat We're Looking For:4+ years of progressive accounting experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA or CPA candidate preferredPrior experience in public accounting, preferably auditStrong knowledge of GAAPExperience owning a full close process with minimal oversightComfortable with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Bill.com)Strong Excel skills, working with large data sets, and formulas (ex.
