Step into a rewarding contract opportunity in the Wilmington, DE area as a Speech Language Pathologist, supporting students both onsite and through homebound services. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across settings, providing individualized speech and language interventions within school environments and for students who are medically homebound. Whether you’re seeking full-time or part-time hours, your expertise will be valued from late August through early June.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Delaware Speech-Language Pathology license (must be submitted with your resume)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous school-based experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to work comfortably both in school settings and in delivering services to homebound students
  • Strong collaboration skills to communicate effectively with educators, families, and support teams
  • Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation for service delivery and progress monitoring
  • Deliver direct therapy for students in both school and homebound environments
  • Consult with teachers and caregivers to support generalization of skills across settings
  • Adjust caseload management in response to fluctuating demands throughout the academic year

This contract position offers a weekday schedule (Monday through Friday), with some flexibility for full-time or part-time hours. The primary school assignment will be determined at placement, ensuring you’ll have support while serving a dynamic and varied caseload.
