Business Development Representative

Carbon Remodeling is a rapidly growing residential remodeling company with four offices across Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego . We complete hundreds of projects for Southern California homeowners , specializing in roofing, windows, exterior coatings, painting, landscaping, and other major home improvements. Our founders have generated tens of millions of dollars in sales and financing transactions across the home improvement industry. We’re investing aggressively in marketing, training, and expansion as we build Carbon into one of Southern California’s leading remodeling companies. The Role This is a BDR role where the product you’re selling is Carbon. Your job is to find talented, competitive salespeople and sell them on joining our team. You’ll build a pipeline of candidates for both our in-home sales and door-to-door canvassing teams , which offer highly competitive compensation, extensive training, strong earning potential, and opportunities for advancement. You’ll prospect through outbound calls, texts, LinkedIn, job boards, social media, referrals, and our existing applicant pipeline. From there, you’ll pitch the opportunity, qualify candidates, overcome objections, follow up, and close strong salespeople on joining Carbon. The best salespeople aren’t always looking for another job. Your job is to get their attention and make them want to hear the pitch. What You’ll Do Prospect and build a pipeline of sales talent across Southern California Cold call, text, email, DM, and creatively source prospective candidates Recruit for our in-home closing and door-to-door canvassing sales teams Pitch Carbon’s compensation, culture, training, growth, and career opportunities Qualify candidates for sales ability, communication, competitiveness, and work ethic Handle objections and consistently follow up with high-potential candidates Schedule qualified interviews and manage candidates through the pipeline Track activity, pipeline, placements, and performance against clear targets Who We’re Looking For You don’t need recruiting experience. We want someone who knows how to sell. We’re open to ambitious, entry-level candidates as well as people with experience in SDR/BDR, outbound sales, home improvement, solar, staffing, automotive, insurance, real estate, or other performance-driven sales environments. You should be comfortable picking up the phone, hearing “no,” creating urgency, managing a pipeline, and being accountable to a number. If your approach is posting a job and waiting for applicants, this isn’t the role. If you see a talented salesperson and think, “I can get that person on the phone and sell them on Carbon,” we want to meet you. Compensation $50,000–$65,000 base salary + uncapped placement commissions $75,000–$85,000 OTE (On-Target Earnings) You’ll earn commission for successfully placing salespeople at Carbon, giving you direct upside for building the team. High performers have the opportunity to exceed OTE as they increase their placements.
