Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individualized mindfulness-based interventions, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to address clients' specific needs for stress reduction and emotional well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to accurately identify clients' stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, using this information to tailor mindfulness practices accordingly.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques, helping them develop self-awareness and cultivate effective coping mechanisms.

• Facilitate group workshops and classes on mindfulness practices and resilience-building strategies, engaging clients in activities that enhance their emotional regulation.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client progress, including detailed records of mindfulness interventions and therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, integrating mindfulness practices into a holistic treatment approach that addresses various mental health concerns.

• Engage in continuous professional development, including personal mindfulness practice and ongoing training in mindfulness-related strategies to remain at the forefront of effective therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be on adults and adolescents facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from a recognized and accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mindfulness principles, with proficiency in incorporating these techniques into therapeutic interventions.
