Work Environment

This onboard position is situated directly within our Assisted Living Facility in Towson, a welcoming community designed to support our residents in their activities of daily living while offering access to comprehensive healthcare services. Our work environment encourages open communication among team members and promotes a culture of continuous learning, evidenced by regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance our service delivery. The scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner at Metro Solutions Medical Center, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories, thorough physical examinations, and necessary diagnostic tests, to establish tailored diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage a wide array of medical conditions, focusing on both acute and chronic illnesses, mental health challenges, and preventive care needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Prescribe medications and therapies responsibly while providing clear patient education on treatment options, expected outcomes, and possible side effects.
• Engage in patient counseling to enhance their understanding of health conditions, encourage adherence to treatment plans, and promote lifestyle modifications aimed at improving overall health.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create a coordinated care approach that meets each patient’s unique needs while acting as a key communication link between patients and the medical team.
• Promote preventive health care through regular screenings, immunizations, and health education initiatives designed to reduce the prevalence of preventable diseases among our residents.
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical records in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on the population residing in our Assisted Living Facility, which consists of elderly individuals who require a variety of health services, from routine check-ups to complex medical care management. You will offer comprehensive support in managing their chronic illnesses, coordinating care with other specialists, and ensuring their health and wellness are prioritized.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• An active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Maryland.
• Certification in a relevant Nurse Practitioner specialty, such as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP).
• Strong clinical judgment paired with the ability to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide spectrum of health conditions effectively.
• Previous experience working in assisted living facilities is a plus, as is familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of related clinical experience is preferred, we also welcome applications from new graduates with extensive clinical training who demonstrate a profound passion for patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
