Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders.

• Work collaboratively with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and essential self-care strategies to foster understanding and support.

• Monitor clients’ progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health treatment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal standards, ensuring the protection of client privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Working with a varied demographic, you will address the unique challenges and backgrounds of each client. Your empathetic approach will help create a supportive environment, encouraging clients to explore their thoughts and feelings openly, promoting healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is essential.

• Demonstrable expertise in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
