The salary range for this position is USD 70,000 – 85,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of incoming clients, utilizing evidence-based screening tools to determine mental health needs and crisis interventions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement integrated care plans tailored to individual clients' needs.

• Provide ongoing support through individual, group, and family therapy sessions, focusing on the unique psychological challenges faced by clients in hospice care.

• Assist clients in navigating their treatment services and monitor their progress, ensuring that services remain client-focused and responsive to presenting problems.

• Work with families to provide education and resources to aid in understanding mental health issues and supporting their loved ones through challenging times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Life Engagement Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders. Your expertise will be critical in assisting clients at vulnerable stages of their lives, particularly those within the hospice context who may be coping with terminal illnesses and associated mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred.

• Active and unrestricted LCSW licensure in New Jersey.

• Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience, particularly working with populations experiencing severe emotional disorders.

• Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning specific to mental health.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with exceptional listening abilities and empathy.
