Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Compassion Wave, your key responsibilities will include:

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), ensuring that the approaches align with client preferences and clinical best practices.

• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, while employing secure digital tools for documentation.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to create cohesive treatment strategies that effectively address the diverse needs of our patients.

• Participating in regular peer review meetings and case consultations, fostering continuous learning and improvement in therapeutic practices.

• Providing education and resources to patients and their families regarding mental health issues, supporting their understanding of treatment options and available community resources.

• Managing a full caseload of clients, ensuring that each patient receives timely and effective treatment while upholding ethical standards as prescribed by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus primarily on patients in hospice care, who may be confronting a range of mental health issues including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, and grief related to terminal illness. You will engage with a diverse demographic of patients and their families, promoting mental wellness and facilitating coping strategies during emotionally charged periods of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania.

• At least 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly focused on providing psychotherapy services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
