Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW, you will take on key responsibilities that include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health status and identify their needs.

• Crafting individualized treatment plans that align with best practices and utilize solution-based therapeutic interventions.

• Delivering a range of psychotherapeutic services, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapted to each client’s preferences and situation.

• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and maintaining organizational standards.

• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a unified approach to patient care.

• Engaging in regular case consults and peer review to uphold a high standard of clinical practice.

• Educating patients and families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and pertinent community resources.

• Staying abreast of current research and integrating latest findings to enhance therapeutic methods.

• Managing a full caseload, ensuring that treatment goals are achieved systematically while adhering to ethical guidelines set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with patients who are experiencing a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, grief, and chronic illness-related stress. Given the hospice setting, you will also engage with families navigating end-of-life transitions, providing critical emotional support and coping strategies tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
