Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate client needs and mental health conditions, establishing a strong foundation for treatment planning.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based approaches that focus on the unique needs of each client.

• Provide therapeutic services via virtual appointments, adapting to the dynamic nature of online counseling methodologies.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation within Simple Practice, facilitating continuity of care and compliance with industry standards.

• Engage in regular supervision and peer consultation to enhance clinical skills and stay informed about best practices in mental health care.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including CEUs provided by the organization.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members as needed to address client care holistically, especially concerning co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary clientele will include individuals undergoing detoxification, many of whom may be experiencing underlying mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. You will have the opportunity to work closely with adults, couples, and, at times, adolescents, creating a diverse and engaging therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• Valid licensure as a mental health clinician (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage/Family Therapy, or Social Work is highly preferred.

• Proven expertise in treatment planning and mental health counseling, particularly in telehealth environments.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.

• Comfort and proficiency in conducting virtual appointments and utilizing technology effectively to engage clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling or a related field, preferably in a remote or telehealth setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 110,000, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, therapists will have no overhead costs, allowing them to retain more of their earnings. We support our counselors by providing:
