Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of new clients to determine their mental health and substance use needs, developing personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of individuals and groups.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to coordinate care for clients, ensuring all aspects of their well-being are addressed for optimal outcomes.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and stabilization techniques to clients experiencing acute distress, utilizing your expertise to de-escalate intense situations with empathy and professionalism.

• Participate in community outreach programs to enhance mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and provide educational resources concerning substance use and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele served at our detox center encompasses individuals grappling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.

• A current and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for the establishment of strong therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity in addressing the needs of individuals from varied ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic groups.

• Organizational and time-management skills essential for ensuring accurate documentation and meeting treatment goals.
