Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health needs, using standardized tools as well as clinical interviews.

• Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the unique circumstances of each client, incorporating their input and preferences.

• Provide individual therapy using effective therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

• Set clear therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and regularly review these goals to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

• Deliver teletherapy sessions that are engaging and effective, utilizing technology to maintain high standards of care.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients in a detox center environment, many of whom are dealing with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This role demands a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding substance withdrawal, recovery processes, and the increased vulnerability of this population. Your ability to provide empathetic and skilled therapeutic interventions will be critical in guiding clients back to healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license in Texas as a Mental Health Professional, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
