Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Med-Surg/Telemetry) – Ohio

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Zanesville, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week, day shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), every other weekend required. Call coverage is rare.

Highlights:

• Primary assignment on Long Term Observation unit with cross-training to Med-Surg specialties including Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, and potential ED support
• Epic EMR system in use; current proficiency required prior to start
• 13-week assignment with consistent day shift schedule
• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation integral to daily responsibilities
• Opportunity to expand clinical skills across multiple acute care settings

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Ohio
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and Med-Surg experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with Epic EMR (current experience required; training not available)
• Hospital-based acute care experience required
• Ability to accurately read and interpret Telemetry/cardiac monitoring (competency testing required on day one)
• Flexibility to float to various Med-Surg units as needed
