Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive client evaluations to assess the intensity and impact of mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized assessment tools and personal interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to craft individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Employ evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate recovery and improvement.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, providing information about treatment options and self-care strategies that empower them in their journey towards healing.

• Regularly monitor client progress, documenting changes and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving needs.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other medical professionals for integrated care to support clients holistically.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will primarily work with individuals facing challenges related to mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our client base includes a diverse array of individuals, including those experiencing homelessness, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Your role will be instrumental in providing targeted support and guidance to these vulnerable populations.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
