Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Resource Teacher for Pre-K! Travel professionals are especially welcome, with on-site commitment required throughout the school year.

In this role, you'll collaborate with a single campus, focusing your efforts on students in grades K through 2. The caseload consists of approximately 20 children, with a high incidence of autism. You'll provide both push-in and pull-out services, designing and delivering individualized education programs to foster growth and achievement.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and valid Educator Certification (must present images of licenses)
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting (early childhood or resource preferred)
• Knowledge of individualized instruction and IEP development for young learners
• Familiarity with push-in/pull-out models and accommodating autism spectrum needs
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, aides, and school support staff effectively
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to commit to an on-site, full-time assignment (35 hours per week, 7:40am-3:20pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver specialized instruction tailored to diverse student needs in K-2
• Manage a caseload of 20 students, consult with parents, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide direct support within general education classes (push-in) and in small group or individual settings (pull-out)
• Track progress and adapt strategies to ensure meaningful learning and inclusion
• Maintain compliance with district standards and documentation requirements
