Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting Pre-K students as a Special Education Teacher at an elementary campus near Daphne, AL. In this role, you’ll work exclusively onsite with a close-knit group of six young learners, providing essential support within a specialized classroom that serves an autism-heavy caseload. Your day will run from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 35 hours per week. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Educator Certification in Special Education is required (must provide documentation)
• Experience with Pre-K populations, especially students on the autism spectrum
• Comfort with and ability to assist with toileting needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with school teams and families
• Ability to adapt to individualized plans and accommodate diverse learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and care to a small Pre-K caseload (6 students)
• Support children’s academic, social, and personal care needs in the classroom setting
• Assist with activities of daily living, including toileting
• Foster a nurturing environment that encourages growth, inclusion, and independence
• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress with school staff and families
