Step into a meaningful role supporting students’ growth as a Special Education Resource Teacher for early learners. This on-site, contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in Pre-K through second grade. You’ll work exclusively at one school and collaborate with a dedicated team to serve a close-knit group of 20 young children, many with autism, utilizing both push-in and pull-out models. Travel professionals are encouraged to apply.

Your schedule will be consistent, Monday through Friday, from 7:40am to 3:20pm, covering a full 35 hours each week. The assignment starts as soon as possible and runs through late May 2027, allowing you to build lasting relationships with students and staff.

Key qualifications:

• Valid state Educator Certification in Special Education required
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher, particularly with early elementary grades (K-2)
• Comfort working with students on the autism spectrum
• Ability to provide both push-in and pull-out support in a resource setting
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with colleagues, students, and families
• Prepared to present certification/license documentation

Primary responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Deliver instruction and interventions tailored to student needs, in both classroom and resource room settings
• Track and document student progress
• Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for diverse learners
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and support personnel
