Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as a Pre-K – 2nd grade Special Education Resource Teacher in a school setting focused on developmental success. This long-term contract position is ideal for travel educators seeking an impactful role in an engaging academic environment. Here, you'll work closely with a caseload of 20 students, with a focus on autism spectrum needs, using both push-in and pull-out instructional models. Onsite presence is required, ensuring you’ll have direct engagement with your students and colleagues.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Educator Certification required; must present valid documentation
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, particularly in resource settings
• Deep understanding of individualized education programs (IEP) and instructional differentiation
• Familiarity with autism spectrum instructional strategies preferred
• Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with families, specialists, and classroom staff
• Ability to adapt to different learning environments and individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide push-in and pull-out resource support to students in K-2 grades
• Develop and implement IEP goals, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with general education teachers to foster inclusive classroom environments
• Utilize evidence-based instructional approaches, especially for students with autism
• Track and document student progress, maintaining compliance with educational standards
• Engage in ongoing communication with parents, staff, and administrators for holistic student support
