Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, utilizing telehealth technology to conduct therapy sessions. Our therapists benefit from a supportive work setting that emphasizes work-life balance. Regular work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on the diverse needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial and ongoing mental health assessments to identify patient needs and collaboratively develop comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapy, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, for individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions to address common issues and foster a sense of community among patients.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to create a coordinated care approach, ensuring all aspects of a patient's mental health are addressed.

• Respond to mental health crises by delivering immediate and effective crisis intervention services.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their treatment journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a fully accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and best practices for evidence-based treatment.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role is required.
