Work Environment\n

Our practice embraces a hybrid work model, allowing our clinical staff to operate remotely while being integral to a collaborative outpatient team. The office operates predominantly Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor specializing in mood disorders, you will have a multifaceted role that includes:

• Conducting thorough, evidence-based assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders, including depression and bipolar disorder.

• Developing individualized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, ensuring that their specific goals and preferences are prioritized.

• Providing therapeutic interventions utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the needs of each client.

• Educating clients and their families about mood disorders, related treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance recovery.

• Monitoring treatment progress meticulously, making adjustments to plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes for our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly in treating mood disorders.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, specifically CBT and DBT.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology as it relates to mood disorders and the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists.
