Req ID 90510 | Northville, United States ZF Active Safety US Inc.Job DescriptionStrategy & Market Intelligence Expert This role is responsible for leading the market research function for ZF North America, and for performing ad-hoc investigations into new business opportunities in the North America market. This role will interact regularly with executive level management and will require managing project teams from various leadership levels across multiple divisions and functional domains. This role is essential for the continued operation and market growth of our business, as it allows us to better plan our product strategy and set our company’s operating goals based on market demand.Responsibilities: Lead market research, data management and insights reporting: Collect and analyze market data, competitive intelligence, and current/potential customer needs for the Americas Region (North & South America).Identify macro/micro industry trends, patterns, and competitive threats, and provide insightful strategic recommendations.Seek out and synthesize information from various internal and external sources to create curated datasets.Lead monthly reporting cadence for market trends and insights as well as ensure accuracy of data and reporting deliverables.Examine, interpret, and communicate results and business impacts of market trends to stakeholders in leadership.Strategic project management: Implement project management best practices to organize and coordinate workstreams for regional strategy projects and materials preparation for executive reviewsManage activities of project team members from across all divisions and functional domainsLead project status meetings with project teams and executive level project sponsorsQualifications:Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in technical or business disciplineMinimum of 5 years of experience in managing, manipulating, and drawing insights from dataMust have a collaborative approach and be a self-starterUnderstanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendationsExperience creating executive-level presentations with compelling storylines utilizing data to support conclusions and drive decisionsKnowledge of how to leverage Copilot to gain efficiency and automate data reporting and analysis tasksStrong ability to plan and manage numerous processes and projects simultaneously within a matrix organizationKnowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Business Dashboards is desiredStrong working knowledge of vehicle systems, components and dynamics a plusBe part of our ZF team as Strategy & Market Intelligence Expert and apply now!ContactGabriela PalacioDIVERSITY COMMITMENT: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are more than just words for us.
