Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, addressing specific emotional and behavioral challenges of clients.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies to inform treatment and intervention strategies.

• Document client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

• Develop crisis management strategies, including pre-crisis planning and risk assessment, to facilitate positive interventions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to client-specific needs.

• Act as a liaison to relevant community resources, state agencies, and service systems, ensuring clients have access to comprehensive support.

• Participate actively in ongoing professional development opportunities such as conferences and workshops to stay abreast of the latest clinical practices.

• Engage in organizational initiatives to promote the agency’s mission and values, contributing positively to service excellence.

• Assist in accreditation processes, ensuring our practice meets all necessary standards and guidelines.

• Perform additional tasks as delegated by the Clinic Director to support the clinic's operations and client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals from diverse backgrounds who face mental health challenges, including those recovering from substance abuse and dealing with developmental disabilities. You will work with clients in various stages of recovery, helping them to overcome barriers to success and empowering them towards greater independence and community participation. Each interaction will contribute to fostering client resilience and improving overall life satisfaction.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in a behavioral health field is required.

• Current independent LMHC licensure issued by the state board in New York.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain detailed clinical records and produce reports as required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 86,000 to 103,000 annually, recognizing the valuable contributions you will bring to our clinic.
