Accounts Payable Manager

Pay Range:$99,500 - $105,000SUMMARYThe Accounts Payable Manager oversees the end-to-end disbursement operation, ensuring accurate payment processing and regulatory compliance. This role manages financial workflows, supports month- end close activities, and drives process improvements while collaborating with key stakeholders.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONDirect accounts payable operations including vendor management, invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliationsSupport month-end close through variance analyses, journal entries, and account reconciliationsEnsure compliance through regular audits of internal controls and regulatory requirementsLead and develop AP team members to enhance operational efficiencyPartner with Finance and IT departments on systems implementation and optimizationFacilitate internal and external audits by providing required documentation.Attend on-site meetings and training sessionsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, with 5+ years of AP experience, including 2+ years in management, or an equivalent mix of education and experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIESAdvanced proficiency in financial analysis, reconciliation, and problem-solvingExpert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, formulas)Experience with AP automation tools and systemsProven experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle)About UsThe American Arbitration Association (AAA), recognized among The NonProfit Times' 50 Best Nonprofits to Work For, offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where excellence meets opportunity.
